"It is will a great sadness that I write this.  Shannon Green, in
Society known as Lady Samaire de Lacy, passed away today after her
struggle with aneurysms.  After her collapse Thursday night, she
suffered a stroke today, which ended her life.  Her sister, Barbara,
has not made any plans as of yet regarding a memorial service, but I
will post as I know more information.

Please keep her family in your thoughts tonight.

"Greetings,

  I just spoke with Samaire's sister, and I am printing out all of the
letters that you have sent in her memory and taking them by the house
this evening after work.  I am also dropping off a check from the
donations that we have so far recieved which Barbara wants to go to a
memorial stone for her grave from us, the SCA, as a group.  She says
that other than her mundane name, we should feel free to add to it as
we will.  Sayyida Dinah mentioned that we should put her sleeping lion
from her device on it. Since all of you who've donated this money, I
believe that you should have a say in where it's going.  Please let me
know if this is acceptable, or if you have another idea.

At the moment, it looks as though the viewing will be on Thursday, and
the service on Friday.  I don't have any times at this moment, but I
will be posting as soon as I know more, or if things change.
